Drug Interactions With Zolmitriptan

Among the drugs that can potentially interact with zolmitriptan are other triptans, type A monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAO-A inhibitors), and cimetidine. Drug interactions with zolmitriptan can increase your risk of dangerous side effects or cause a group of symptoms called serotonin syndrome (which can include confusion, muscle spasms, and sweating), among other things.
