Teriflunomide Problems

Teriflunomide (Aubagio®) is a medicine prescribed to treat certain types of multiple sclerosis in adults. Most people have no problems with teriflunomide; however, adverse reactions are possible.

To help minimize complications, let your healthcare provider know if you have any other existing medical problems. For example, teriflunomide can potentially cause dangerous liver problems, nerve problems, or kidney problems. People who have liver or kidney disease, as well as certain other health problems, should discuss the potential risks with their healthcare provider prior to taking teriflunomide.
