Sumatriptan succinate (Alsuma™, Imitrex®, Sumavel®, Zecuity™) is a prescription medication that has been approved to relieve symptoms of migraine headaches. The medication comes in tablets, a nasal spray, a skin patch, and an injection. The injection form is also approved to treat cluster headaches.
