Perampanel Side Effects

When perampanel was given to people during clinical trials, some of the most common reactions included dizziness, headaches, and fatigue. Fortunately, most people who use this anti-seizure drug tolerate it fairly well. Serious side effects with perampanel are possible, however, and may include problems like severe dizziness, depression, and thoughts of suicide.

An Introduction to Side Effects of Perampanel

Just like any medicine, perampanel (Fycompa™) can cause side effects. However, not everyone who takes the medication will have problems. In fact, most people tolerate it quite well. If reactions do occur, in most cases, they are minor and either require no treatment or are treated easily by you or your healthcare provider.

(This article covers many, but not all, of the possible side effects with perampanel. Your healthcare provider can discuss a more complete list with you.)
