What If I Overdose on Perampanel?

At this time, it is not entirely clear what to expect from an overdose with perampanel. An overdose could cause agitation and aggression, as well as other symptoms. Seek immediate medical attention if you or someone else may have taken too much of this or any other medication.

Storage Information

Perampanel should be stored at room temperature. Keep this and all other medications out of the reach of children and pets.

What If I Miss a Dose of This Drug?

If you forget a dose of perampanel, simply skip it and continue with your regular schedule. Do not take a double dose.
If you miss more than one day of the medication, contact your healthcare provider for instructions. You may need to be restarted on a lower amount and slowly increased back to your normal dose.

Alternatives to Perampanel

Perampanel is not the only treatment available for controlling partial-onset seizures. Several alternatives exist, including other anti-seizure medications (see Fycompa Alternatives).

This medication is not currently available in generic form (see Generic Fycompa).
