Parlodel UsesParlodel is used for treating Parkinson's disease and other similar conditions. It is also licensed to treat hyperprolactinemia and acromegaly. For children, the medication is only approved for treating prolactin-secreting tumors (which cause hyperprolactinemia). Healthcare providers may occasionally recommend off-label Parlodel uses, such as for treating neuroleptic malignant syndrome and for suppressing lactation in new mothers who choose not to breastfeed.
