Strengths of Oxcarbazepine

Oxcarbazepine tablets are available in three strengths:
 
  • Oxcarbazepine 150 mg
  • Oxcarbazepine 300 mg
  • Oxcarbazepine 600 mg.
     
A liquid form of oxcarbazepine is also available -- oxcarbazepine suspension 300 mg per 5 mL (300 mg per teaspoonful).
 

Is There a Generic Version of Oxcarbazepine?

Currently, both brand-name and generic versions of oxcarbazepine are licensed for sale (see Generic Trileptal).
