Precautions and Warnings With Naratriptan

There are several precautions and warnings with naratriptan to be aware of, such as those concerning an increased risk for serious heart problems associated with the drug. Other warnings and precautions to be aware of with naratriptan concern interactions that can occur when the drug is taken with other medications. Before you start taking naratriptan, be sure to notify your healthcare provider about any medical conditions you may have, such as high blood pressure, heart problems, or blood vessel conditions.

Make sure to tell your healthcare provider about all of the medicines you take, including prescription and non-prescription medicines, vitamins, and herbal supplements.
