What Is Entacapone Used For?Entacapone is used for the treatment of Parkinson's disease. It has no activity against Parkinson's when used alone, but when taken in combination with carbidopa-levodopa products, it can help levodopa last longer and work better. Entacapone is currently not approved for use in children. There are also no universally accepted off-label entacapone uses at this time.
