How Should Divalproex ER Be Stored?

Divalproex ER should be stored at room temperature, away from moisture and heat. You should store divalproex ER tablets in an airtight container.
 
Keep divalproex ER and all other medications out of the reach of children.
 

What Should I Do If I Miss a Dose of Divalproex ER?

If you do not take your divalproex ER as scheduled, take your missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule. Do not take a double dose. Be sure to tell your healthcare provider if you miss any of your divalproex ER doses, as this information may be helpful for adjusting your dosage.
 

Strengths of Divalproex ER

Divalproex ER tablets are available in two strengths:
 
  • Divalproex ER 250 mg tablets
  • Divalproex ER 500 mg tablets.
     

Divalproex ER Generic

Currently, there is no generic divalproex ER licensed for sale (see Generic Depakote).
