Depakene Uses in Children

Depakene is approved for the treatment of complex partial seizures in children ages 10 and older. It is also approved to treat absence seizures in children -- though an exact age range is not given. For any use, Depakene should be avoided, if possible, in children younger than two years of age, due to the risk of liver damage.
