Ethosuximide
Depakene can raise the amount of ethosuximide in your blood, possibly increasing your risk of side effects. If you are taking these medicines together, your healthcare provider may need lower your ethosuximide dosage.
 
Felbamate
Felbamate can raise the amount of Depakene in your blood, which may increase your risk of side effects. If you are taking these drugs together, your healthcare provider may need to measure the level of Depakene in your blood and adjust your dose as necessary.
 
Lamotrigine
Depakene can raise the amount of lamotrigine in your blood, possibly increasing your risk of side effects. If you are taking these drugs together, your healthcare provider may need lower your lamotrigine dosage.
 
Meropenem
Meropemen may decrease the level of Depakene in your blood, perhaps making it less effective. If you are taking these medications together, your healthcare provider may need to adjust your Depakene dosage.
 
Nortriptyline
Depakene can raise the level of nortriptyline in your blood, potentially increasing your risk of nortriptyline side effects. If you are taking these drugs together, your healthcare provider may need to decrease your nortriptyline dosage.
 
Phenobarbital
Taking phenobarbital with Depakene can decrease the level of Depakene in your blood, perhaps making it less effective. Taking these medications together may also raise the level of phenobarbital in your blood, increasing your risk of side effects. If you are taking these medications together, your healthcare provider will monitor you more closely and adjust your doses if necessary.
 
Phenytoin
Taking phenytoin with Depakene can decrease the level of Depakene in your blood, perhaps making it less effective. Taking these medications together may also raise the level of phenytoin in your blood, increasing your risk of side effects. If you are taking these medications together, your healthcare provider will monitor you more closely and adjust your doses if necessary.
