Amitriptyline
Depakene can raise the level of amitriptyline in your blood, potentially increasing your risk of amitriptyline side effects. If you are taking these drugs together, your healthcare provider may need to decrease your amitriptyline dosage.
 
Aspirin
Aspirin may affect the way your body handles Depakene, perhaps increasing your risk of side effects. If you are taking these drugs together, your healthcare provider will need to monitor you more closely and adjust your Depakene dosage as necessary.
 
Carbamazepine
Taking carbamazepine with Depakene can decrease the level of Depakene in your blood, perhaps making it less effective. Taking these medications together may affect the way your body handles carbamazepine, potentially increasing your risk of side effects. If you are taking these medications together, your healthcare provider will monitor you more closely and adjust your dose of these medications if necessary.
 
Chlorpromazine
Chlorpromazine can raise the level of Depakene in your blood, possibly increasing your risk of side effects. If you are taking these drugs together, your healthcare provider may need to decrease your Depakene dosage to prevent drug interactions from occurring.
 
Clonazepam
Combining clonazepam with Depakene can increase your risk of absence seizures, especially if you have never had absence seizures before. Talk with your healthcare provider before taking these medications together.
 
Diazepam
Depakene can increase the level of diazepam in your blood, potentially increasing your risk of diazepam side effects. If you are taking these drugs together, your healthcare provider may need to decrease your diazepam dosage to prevent interactions from occurring.
