Dantroline

Dantrolene sodium (Dantrium®) is a prescription muscle relaxant approved to treat muscle spasticity caused by certain neurological conditions and also to treat or prevent a rare and dangerous condition called malignant hyperthermia. This drug comes as a capsule that is taken by mouth or as an injection that is given slowly into a vein (intravenously, or by IV).
Your specific dosage will depend on how you respond to the medicine, the particular product you are using, and various other factors. Side effects are common and may include weakness, drowsiness, and dizziness.
