Who Should Not Take Benztropine?

You should not take benztropine if you:
 
  • Are allergic to Cogentin, benztropine mesylate, or any of the inactive components used to make the medication. Your healthcare provider or pharmacist has a list of the inactive ingredients.
     
  • Are under the age of three years old.
