Acoustic Neuroma Surgery Recovery: Leaving the Hospital
When you leave the hospital you will be given instructions for taking care of your body after the
acoustic neuroma surgery and specific instructions for:
- Driving
- Activity levels
- Medication
- Any further restrictions.
Your healthcare providers will also go over any symptoms that require immediate medical attention.
The first follow-up visit with your doctor will be approximately 1 to 4 weeks after you leave the hospital. There will also be continued periodic visits until you have fully recovered.
